We have been working according to the HACCP concept's principles since 2000.

Straubinger Konserven- und Sauerkrautfabrik’s contract farming is conducted exclusively on the basis of the relevant certification systems in agriculture (Global Gap, geprüfte Qualität Bayern). We are always close to the origin thanks to our ties with local farmers.

The moderate climate, good soil and efficient Gäuboden farmers provide the best prerequisites for good, reliable crop yields.
Europe’s largest coherent cucumber growing area has probably developed in Lower Bavaria over the last few decades for this reason too.
The shortest distances from the production of crops to processing are the ideal basis for making our tasty and high-quality food.
The close contacts with the primary production of vegetables guarantees constantly good quality and maximum freshness for processing. At the same time this avoids unnecessary environmental pollution due to long-distance transport. We manage our business holistically and sustainably.

Where we come from … as only those with roots can bear fruits!
我們的歴史源於巴伐利亞下游的高博登地區。
Our roots are in the traditional of Lower Bavaria’s Gäuboden region.
Straubinger Konserven- und Sauerkrautfabrik工廠的創始人Alfons Buchner来自該地區最大的荘園之一。 他従小就對産品的主要原材料有豐富的知識和基本了解。

Alfons Buchner, founder of the Straubinger Konserven- und Sauerkrautfabrik factory, came from one of the region’s largest estates. His sound knowledge and basic understanding for his products’ main raw material grew with him from a young age.
He started preserving good regional crops in 1962. First of all he used rooms at an agricultural farmstead in his home village of Ittling near Straubing for this.
